Play is an important word- we always need to stress the play and joy of sports to achieve the universal satisfaction we can get from all-important physical activity, which so effects our health as we go through life. The life-lessons learned through sports from teaching with an emphasis on sportsmanship, being the best you can be, and teamwork are the values I strive to instill in my students so that beyond a time of fun during a day of play in the gym, they grow and develop in character, which can have a long-lasting effect on our greater society.
